Draw diagrams, wireframes, and sketches as native Notion blocks — without leaving your workspace.
Free forever for 5 drawings per month · No credit card required
A floating blue button appears at the bottom right of your Notion page. Click it to open the Excalidraw editor in a modal — no new tab, no context switch.
Use Excalidraw's full editor — freehand, shapes, arrows, text, and hand-drawn style that looks great in any doc.
The drawing appears instantly as an inline image block. Hover over it any time to re-edit — your content loads back exactly as you left it.
The beloved Excalidraw editor — hand-drawn style, freehand, shapes, arrows, and text — embedded directly in your browser.
Drawings live as real Notion image blocks inside your workspace — not embeds to an external service. They travel with your pages, survive uninstalling, and we never store your content on our servers.
Pick the right tool for the job: Excalidraw for hand-drawn sketches, draw.io for rigorous technical diagrams — both saving as native Notion blocks.
Flowcharts, system architecture, UI wireframes, mind maps, org charts, and freehand sketches — anything you can draw.
Every save automatically snapshots the last 5 versions, embedded inside the drawing itself. Restore any earlier state with one click — no separate storage needed.
Got a Mermaid diagram from Notion AI or a colleague? Open it in Flowblock with one click, then tweak freely — no Mermaid syntax required.
Yes. Flowblock uses the standard Notion file upload API which works on all plan tiers.
After installing, click the Flowblock icon and sign in with Notion — you'll be asked which pages to grant access to. Pick your top-level pages (or an entire workspace section) rather than individual pages: Notion automatically extends that permission to every sub-page underneath, so any new page you create inside them just works without re-authorizing.
If a page wasn't included when you first connected Notion, Flowblock will show a small red error message in the bottom corner of the screen when you try to save a drawing there. To fix it, open that page and click the ··· menu in the top-right, then choose Connections → Flowblock. You can also re-run the connect flow from the extension popup and add the parent page — every sub-page underneath gets access automatically.
Your drawings are stored as image blocks inside your Notion workspace. They remain visible even without the extension installed — they're just regular images at that point.
Pro users get up to 5 previous versions of each drawing, stored directly inside the Notion image block — no separate database or storage required. Open a drawing, click "Version history" in the bottom-left corner, and restore any earlier snapshot with one click.
Yes (Pro) — Flowblock detects Mermaid code blocks on your Notion page, including ones generated by Notion AI, and lets you open them as editable drawings with one click. Great for when you want the diagram but don't want to learn Mermaid syntax.
Yes — pick the editor when creating a drawing: Excalidraw for quick hand-drawn sketches, draw.io for rigorous technical diagrams. Both save as native Notion image blocks.
Hover over any drawing in Notion — an "Edit" button appears in the corner. Click it to reopen the drawing in its original editor with your full content loaded.
Yes — drawings always save cleanly in light mode so they look right for everyone, but you can enable "Match Notion's dark mode" in the extension popup to open the editor with the dark theme automatically.
Chrome support is available now. Firefox and Edge versions are in progress.
Your existing drawings stay in Notion untouched. Creating new drawings will be limited to the free tier (5 per month).
Drawings are uploaded directly to Notion's own file storage using your Notion access token. We never store your drawing content on our servers.
